  1. Bark Ranger (15Y+)

    January 25, 2020, 4:15 PM - 5:30 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Bring your tail wagging best friend to our new Bark Ranger certification classes! We will create a memory keepsake, talk about outdoor safety for pets, Leave no Trace, and how you and your pet can become park stewards. Upon completion of your Bark Ranger training, you and your pet will receive a certificate, honorary Bark Ranger dog tag, collapsible food bowl, and puppy treats. Then we will hit the trails to show off our new skills. All dogs must be on a fixed leash. 1 dog per registered adult. Children may attend with registered adult. Current rabies certificate must be brought to each class.
    Don’t have a dog? You can participate with a shelter dog! When you sign up you will be asked if you would like to participate with a shelter dog or bring your own dog.

  2. Girl Scout - Space Science STEM Program

    January 25, 2020, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Join us at Oliver Nature Park to work on your Girl Scout Space Science STEM badges. Activities will be available to fulfill many of the new Space Science badge requirements for all levels up to Senior. (Check online for more details.) Afterward, stick around for our free public stargazing event with members of the Fort Worth Astronomical Society. Physical badges must be purchased though the Girl Scout Council.

  3. Stargazing with Astronomers (All Ages)

    Come and explore the night skies with astronomers from the Fort Worth Astronomical Society. Learn about the constellations and planets as you examine the skies with high-powered telescopes.

    Home Schoolers, get out of the house and come on an adventure as we develop outdoor skills and have fun outside. Parents drop off students at the baseball field. This class will be all about archery. Student will find out how fun picking up a bow and being outdoors can be. This class is designed for beginning archers to learn the basics and good techniques with a USA Archery certified instructor. Archery teaches respect for nature and builds confidence through practice. Bows and arrows are provided.
