  1. Hike with a Naturalist (All Ages) - Fall Scavenger Hunt Hike

    November 26, 2019, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Come enjoy Oliver Nature Park and learn about the wonders of nature on a guided hike with a Naturalist! Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. All participants over 2 years of age must pre-register. Each child/family must have at least one adult attending and registered for the program. We encourage nature walks for the whole family!
    Pre-registration is required.

  2. Adventure Mini Camp (7-14Y)

    November 26, 2019, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Enjoy an outdoor adventure learning about camping, fishing, archery, hiking, and more! Sunglasses and daily snack are included. Pre-registration required by the Friday prior at 9 am. Wednesday (archery day) will be held at McClendon Park West.

  3. Bark Ranger (15Y+)

    November 26, 2019, 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Bring your furry four-legged friend to our new Bark Ranger course! We will talk about Leave No Trace and outdoor safety for pets as well as create a memory keepsake. Then we will go for a hike around Oliver Nature Park to learn about the history and unique features it has to offer. Upon completion of your Bark Ranger training, you and your pet will receive a certificate, honorary Bark Ranger dog tag, collapsible food bowl, and puppy treats. All dogs must be on a fixed leash. 1 dog per registered person. Children may attend with registered adult. Current rabies certificate must be brought to each class. Don’t have a dog? You can participate with a shelter dog! When you sign up you will be asked if you would like to participate with a shelter dog or bring your own dog.
