  1. Hazardous Household Waste Dropoff

    February 8, 2020, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Environmental Collection Center (ECC)

    The Environmental Collection Center is the City's permanent drop off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department and is open the second Saturday of every month from 10 am - 3 pm, and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  1. Story Time for Tots (18mo-3Y)

    Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays and rhymes introducing toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities. This introduces group listening skills and provides interaction with others. Story Time for Tots is every Tuesday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Please check the library calendar for specific dates. No registration is required.

  1. Girl Scout - Space Science STEM Program

    February 8, 2020, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Join us at Oliver Nature Park to work on your Girl Scout Space Science STEM badges. Activities will be available to fulfill many of the new Space Science badge requirements for all levels up to Senior. (Check online for more details.) Afterward, stick around for our free public stargazing event with members of the Fort Worth Astronomical Society. Physical badges must be purchased though the Girl Scout Council.
